 WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Police need your help to keep Cavalier Manor safe.  Read the following statistics:

  • Cavalier Manor's burglaries account for more than half of the 40% increase in Portsmouth's burglaries.

  • Cavalier Manor has had over $85,000 worth of items stolen due to burglaries since August 1, 2010.

You may be asking yourself, "What can I do?"  Here's what you can do.

Become more PROACTIVE...

not just REACTIVE

PROACTIVE is:

  • Becoming a member of the PCR and Neighborhood Watch
  • Being a Concerned Citizen
  • Being MORE OBSERVANT!!!

REACTIVE is:

  • Writing down details (size, shape, direction, color, location)
  • CALL 911!!! You don't have to give your name...
  • JUST REPORT THE CRIME AND/OR SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY!

Check back often for tips on what YOU CAN DO!

Thanks to Portsmouth Police Department Crime Prevention Unit, CPS S. LaTisha Branch and NIO R. Dyer for the statistics.
